Swift Water Rescue Training 101 - March 2002

The event in the Cossatot River in Arkansas was a success. The temperature reached 19 degrees F the night before, so the water was really cold, but teams from Houston, Oklahoma, and East Texas made the grade.

Team Houston had a seal p/t training before and it was obvious that it paid off for them. This training is recommended for all who wish to be first responders.

The instructor reported, "Team East Texas even stayed longer and finished repelling 101". Is amazing how everyday people give up their weekend to learn how to save others SAFELY. SO...WHAT DID YOU DO LAST WEEKEND?
